Household Hazardous Waste Information
Each year household hazardous waste is diverted from the landfill. Household hazardous waste must not be put in the garbage or down drains or storm sewers. Household hazardous waste is usually labelled as corrosive, explosive, poisonous or flammable. The following is a list of household hazardous waste that is accepted at the landfill:

Orange Drop is an industry-funded recycling program aimed at keeping hazardous and special waste materials out of Ontario’s landfills and waterways. Electronic Waste Information
