The following hours will be in effect at Town of St. Marys facilities on Good Friday (April 18, 2025) and Easter Monday (April 21, 2025).

Spring Cemetery Decoration Day coming to St. Marys

Event is a collaboration with Hodges Funeral Home

As spring blossoms in St. Marys, there’s a new opportunity to come together as a community and beautify one of our town’s most special green spaces – the St. Marys Cemetery (150 Cain St.).

A new Cemetery Decoration Day, in partnership with Andrew L. Hodges Funeral Home, will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Saturday, May 10. It will be an opportunity to clear graves of winter debris and plant flowers and decorate for the season – as well...

The Town of St. Marys is encouraging residents to recognize those who give back through its Strong as Stone program.

The program allows residents to nominate individuals whose selfless deeds contribute to the quality of life in our community. Eligible nominees are publicly recognized at a Town Council meeting, celebrated in the media, and given an official certificate.

St. Marys Aquatics Centre renovations extended until July 2025

The Pyramid Recreation Centre pool is undergoing significant upgrades. The Aquatics Centre has been closed to the public since November 11, 2024, to accommodate renovations to the space. The project involves installing a new HVAC unit and exhaust systems to improve air quality. Repairs are also being made to any parts of the Aquatics Centre that have experienced wear and tear.

Town annually recognizing outstanding accomplishments in sports

The nomination period for the 2025 Sports Wall of Fame, located at the Pyramid Recreation Centre, will be open for one month beginning Tuesday, April 1, 2025. Established in October 2024, the Sports Wall of Fame was created to recognize those who have achieved outstanding accomplishments in sports in the community.
