The Town of St. Marys is working with the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP) and the Perth District Health Unit (PDHU) to provide information about air quality in our community.

In an effort to handle current provincial budget cuts, be better positioned for potential future cuts, and ensure that a high level of service can still be provided to residents without undue tax increases, the Town performed a comprehensive service delivery review in 2019.

On November 27, 2019, Ontario, along with other provincial and territorial emergency management organizations, will issue another test of Alert Ready, Canada’s emergency alerting system.

Stratford Police Inspector adopts kittens who survived being left at St. Marys Cemetery
Some “good mews” has come from the sad story of five kittens who were abandoned at St. Marys Cemetery in early October.
Last week, Inspector Mark Taylor of Stratford Police Services adopted the two surviving kittens from the St. Marys Veterinary Clinic, where the pair were being nurtured after a woman discovered them after hearing mewing from a trash can while walking her dog at the south end of the cemetery.
