This year’s "Natural World" theme encourages kids to connect with the outdoors
The St. Marys Public Library’s popular TD Summer Reading Club will return on July 2. Free booklets are available now for children to use to track their summer reading. Children who reach certain milestones will be eligible to receive prizes from the circulation desk.

Road Maintenance Season Begins

Tomorrow, June 18, marks the start of seasonal road maintenance season in St. Marys, with both Public Works staff and external contractors beginning work.
This is just a friendly reminder to take care, stay safe and keep workers safe by being patient, slowing down in work areas, and observing traffic and construction signs.

Quarry Kick-off Party on Saturday, June 29
St. Marys’ famous swimming quarry opens for weekend hours on June 15 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Weekend-only hours will continue until Friday, June 28, when the pool will be open daily from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. until Labour Day.
The Town will mark the June 28th opening with $2 admission from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., applicable at both the St. Marys Quarry and the Pyramid Recreation Centre Aquatics Centre.

The Town of St, Marys’ new water storage reservoir and booster pumping station quietly came online on May 21, 2019. Now, Mayor Al Strathdee and Chief Administrative Officer Brent Kittmer – along with facility designers and operators – are proud to invite the public to a ribbon cutting followed by an open house on June 12, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. at 55 St. George Street North.
