Aquatics Centre admission fees and program schedule updates

The Pyramid Recreation Centre Aquatics Centre program schedule and fees will be changing in early January 2020.  

Effective January 1, 6:30 a.m. lane swimming and 8:00 a.m. aquafit will be cancelled. A new schedule, including all other lane swimming times and a variety of new afternoon pool programs will begin January 6. Please visit www.townofstmarys.com/aquaticscentre to download or print the new schedule. Copies are also available at Guest Services.

St. Marys Museum Christmas Open House now December 8

Due to last week's ice storm, the St. Marys Museum Christmas Open House has been rescheduled to this Sunday, December 8 from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m.

The event will feature children's crafts, festive treats, door prizes, a silent auction, musical entertainment and the grand opening of the "Do You Hear What I Hear" holiday music exhibit.

Admission is free.

New air quality reports available from the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks

The Town of St. Marys is working with the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP) and the Perth District Health Unit (PDHU) to provide information about air quality in our community.

Town Council approves consolidation of all 2020 Town fees and charges

In an effort to handle current provincial budget cuts, be better positioned for potential future cuts, and ensure that a high level of service can still be provided to residents without undue tax increases, the Town performed a comprehensive service delivery review in 2019.

Alert Ready emergency alerting system to be tested at 2:55 p.m.

On November 27, 2019, Ontario, along with other provincial and territorial emergency management organizations, will issue another test of Alert Ready, Canada’s emergency alerting system.

Most provinces and territories will issue one test message to be distributed over television, radio and compatible wireless devices. In Ontario, the test will commence at 2:55 PM EST.
