The Town of St. Marys is announcing further service reductions and project delays as part of its efforts to slow the spread of COVID-19.
The St. Marys Fire Hall renovation that was set to begin on April 1, 2020 has been delayed until further notice. The Fire Department will continue to operate out of the Municipal Operations Centre until the project is complete.

Concerns over COVID-19 prompt date change
It’s hoped that Hindsight Will Be 2021 as the committee planning this July’s Homecoming+Heritage event voted on Monday to postpone in light of COVID-19.
The committee has postponed the celebration to July 2-4, 2021, but will meet in December 2020 to assess and confirm the date, considering the rapid evolution of the COVID-19 pandemic.

On Tuesday, March 24, 2020, St. Marys Town Council passed a resolution to waive all penalties and interest charges on municipal payments, including property taxes, child care bills and water/wastewater bills for 30 days.
