Town of St. Marys to conduct second emergency services exercise

The Town is once again testing how it would respond in the event of a major emergency in St. Marys. On Thursday, May 31, 2018 between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm, the Town will conduct an emergency services exercise at the Pyramid Recreation Centre.

Following extensive contract negotiations, the Town of St. Marys is announcing a final date for its policing service transition. On Monday, November 5, 2018, the Town will officially welcome the Stratford Police Service to St. Marys.

Fire Department’s annual charity breakfast a major success

Local firefighters swapped their fire hoses for spatulas this past Sunday, May 6, 2018 to host the annual Firefighters Breakfast at the St. Marys Fire Station. For several hours throughout the morning, firefighters worked in the kitchen and on the line to prepare and serve freshly cooked food to the community.

The Town of St. Marys is once again asking non-profit activity groups, community organizations and service clubs to submit their contact information for inclusion in its Recreation & Leisure Program Guide. This time the details submitted will appear in the fall and winter 2018/2019 edition.
