With the potential for thunderstorms again in the forecast, Town of St. Marys Director of Emergency Services, Richard Anderson, wants to spread the word about how to stay safe during severe summer weather. Portion of Wellington Street to be closed June 27 to November 30
The Town of St. Marys is moving forward with another important infrastructure project. On Tuesday, June 27, 2017, St.Marys-based McLean Taylor Construction Limited will start the five-month process of replacing the Wellington Street Bridge.

On Saturday, July 8, 2017, Queen Street will come alive for the 22nd annual Stonetown Heritage Festival. This free event will feature two new signature acts, along with family-friendly activities, food and retail vendors, live music, a street dance and a fireworks show.

Town of St. Marys swimming lesson mass registration is about to get an upgrade. On June 17, residents will be able to skip the line-ups and sign-up online for swimming lessons using their credit cards.
Town staff viewed the summer swimming lesson mass registration event, still being held at the Pyramid Recreation Centre on Saturday, June 17 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., as the perfect opportunity to “soft launch” the new online registration service.
