After a summer of road work and sidewalk replacements, the merchants of downtown St. Marys are ready to celebrate. On Thursday, October 20, the group is hosting an event to commemorate the end of the Queen Street reconstruction project. The celebration is an opportunity to showcase the new streetscape and to remind residents and visitors that downtown St. Marys is open for business.

The Town of St. Marys is moving forward with a multi-year plan to revitalize Cadzow Park. During the week of October 17, the project will officially commence as crews begin the process of removing the park’s 90 year-old outdoor pool.
The decision to remove the pool was made at a meeting of Town Council on Tuesday, August 30. The move was based on research, recommendations from industry experts and staff, as well as feedback...
