The Board and Staff of the Town of St. Marys Public Library are happy to announce that a Library Space and Service Needs Study has been completed. The study was fully funded by the Ontario Trillium Foundation. The results of the study are being presented to the Town of St. Marys Council at its November 8th regular session.

Please be advised that the Monday, November 7 Planning Advisory Committee meeting has been re-located from the Municipal Operations Centre, 408 James Street South to the End Zone in the upper level of the Pyramid Recreation Centre (PRC), 317 James Street South. Signage will be posted at the PRC directing attendees to the End Zone Room.

Clocks will fall back one hour at 2 a.m. on November 6 and the Town of St. Marys Fire Department is recommending residents install new batteries in their smoke and carbon monoxide alarms when they change their clocks.

On February 9, 2016 representatives from the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum (CBHFM) attended Committee of the Whole to present their future vision for a new museum complex. To support the new vision, the CBHFM is requesting that the Town provide a one-time capital contribution of $550,000 towards the construction of the new project, plus annual operating budget support in the amount of $150,000 per year for the operation of the museum.
