When it comes to individuals willing to go the extra mile for others, St. Marys has them in spades.
At its meeting last week, Town Council recognized five residents for their selfless deeds as part of its “Strong as Stone” program. The program allows people to nominate those whose volunteer acts benefit the community.

Update (posted September 15, 2023)
The construction to replace the Pyramid Recreation Centre pool roof has been extended. Area residents and patrons may experience construction noise and odours during the roof replacement extension.
The Aquatics Centre will open for regular hours (beginning Monday, September 18) and the Pyramid Recreation Centre building will remain open to the public while work on the roof is being completed.

Disruption
The St. Marys Train Station service desk will be temporarily closed on Friday, August 25 from 5:45 to 6:45 a.m. It will re-open for regular afternoon and evening hours from 10:15 to 11:15 a.m. and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
