Spring water flushing scheduled for April 29 to May 24, 2024

The Town of St. Marys will be performing spring water main and hydrant flushing from April 29 to May 24, 2024.

Flushing Schedule
  • April 29 to May 3, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., area west of the Thames River
  • May 5, 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., Queen Street East (downtown core)
  • May 6 to 10, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., area south of Trout Creek from the Thames River to James Street, including James Street South

St. Marys Firefighter's Breakfast returns May 7, 2023

The St. Marys Firefighter’s breakfast is back for the first time since 2019!

This year’s breakfast is happening on Sunday, May 7, 2023, at the Fire Hall from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Parking is available in the DCVI lot.

The cost is $10 per adult or $5 per child aged five to 12. Children under age five eat for free. Breakfast will include sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, fried eggs, potatoes, milk, toast, juice, coffee, and tea.

Scrapbooking Garage Sale on Saturday, April 29 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

A committee of volunteers and the St. Marys Friendship Centre have teamed up to hold a Scrapbooking Garage Sale on Saturday, April 29 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at 317 James St. S.

A variety of gently used or new crafting supplies will be available for purchase tax-free. Admission to the event is free.

Residents reminded to share input about downtown municipal services

Service Location Review survey closes April 22, 2023  

The Town of St. Marys is reminding residents to share their feedback on the future of 14 Church St. N.

The municipality is currently running a survey to gather input on the best use of the former Mercury Theatre building. The survey also asks how the Town can improve access to services at its other downtown locations: Town Hall, the St. Marys Public Library and the train station.

Friendship Centre offices closed April 19 to 21 for Piecemakers Quilt Show

The offices of the St. Marys Friendship Centre will be closed from Wednesday, April 19 to Friday, April 21, 2023 due to the Piecemakers Quilt Show. All on-site programming will be cancelled during this time.

Off-site programming, including all in-home support services, will continue as usual. The Friendship Centre’s email, voicemail and drop box will continue to be monitored during this time.
