In addition to targeted beautification projects, BIA funds are spent on marketing, advertising and promotional campaigns for the designated area. These campaigns involve organizing select events, public relations programs and advertising campaigns to promote the area. This structure allows individual businesses to co-operate for the overall benefit of the area.

- Advertisements and marketing efforts with local media and select regional guidebooks
- Seasonal multi-media campaigns
- Town of St. Marys 'service info package' for new businesses - including garbage, parking, post office, internet providers, hydro/water, police, hospital, etc.
- Email news update to the community promoting member events and activities
Events
- Our business community, as a whole, benefits from select local events. The BIA is a proud sponsor of the Stonetown Heritage Festival, Kinsmen Santa Claus Parade, Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame & Museum Family Festival, among others
- We organize seasonal, member-based events such as annual open houses, contests and sales events
- Beautification efforts include flower baskets, displays in the winter lights attraction, banners, etc.
