Harmony of Friends to perform on a special stage Labour Day weekend
Whether you pull up a lawn chair or paddle over, the evening of Friday, Sept. 2 promises to be a perfect start to the unofficial “last weekend” of summer.
Talented local group Harmony of Friends will play a free concert on the north bank of Trout Creek, in Rotary Park. This natural stage will allow for two kinds of viewing: people can either paddle up on their watercraft and listen from the river, or bring a lawn chair and sit on the south bank of the creek, which is known as Kin Park.
The concert begins at 6:30 p.m. and the band will play a mix of pop favourites from the 1960s to present until approximately 8:00 p.m. The sunset will make a perfect backdrop for this summery show!
Any cancellation due to inclement weather will be announced on the Town of St. Marys Facebook and Instagram pages.
