Fire Department Conducting Emergency Response Time Trials

The St. Marys Fire Department will be conducting emergency response time trials using emergency lights and sirens on Wednesday, June 5^th from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.

The reason for the trials is to see how long it takes an emergency vehicle to travel to the end of Wellington Street North during a congested time in the downtown core.

Two trials will take place, the first from the Fire Hall, down James Street South, left onto Queen Street East, right onto Wellington Street North and to the end of Wellington Street North; the second from the Fire Hall, down James Street South, left onto Queen Street East, right onto Church Street North, right onto Station Street, up James Street North, and left onto the Glass Street extension.
