NEWS: Logo for July 2020 town-wide celebration revealed

Homecoming/Heritage logo has local connection

Here’s the first look at a logo that will become very recognizable over the next year! The once-in-a-decade Homecoming is joining forces with the Stonetown Heritage Festival in 2020 for a massive, town-wide celebration of all things St. Marys.

The theme is, appropriately, “Hindsight is 2020” and it’s been charmingly rendered by St. Marys native Alischa Nutt. Nutt (née Rice) grew up with a passion for the arts, leading her to study Graphic Design at Fanshawe College. She currently resides in London and works at Cineplex Digital Media, designing print and digital menu boards for Tim Hortons.

Planning for the event itself began in January of this year and the committee expects to have the itinerary for July 3-5 confirmed by December. In addition to the reunions, parade, concert and other Homecoming events, beloved Heritage Festival components such as the street dance, Rotary Fireworks, and free children’s activities have been combined into one impressive weekend.
