Nominations for the 2025 Sports Wall of Fame beginning April 1

Town annually recognizing outstanding accomplishments in sports

The nomination period for the 2025 Sports Wall of Fame, located at the Pyramid Recreation Centre, will be open for one month beginning Tuesday, April 1, 2025. Established in October 2024, the Sports Wall of Fame was created to recognize those who have achieved outstanding accomplishments in sports in the community.

The project was initially proposed by the Recreation and Leisure Advisory Committee in 2022 for the preservation and promotion of the importance of athletics history within the municipality. Those who meet the category and criteria, including individuals, teams, and builders, can be nominated for consideration to honour their sporting accomplishments.

"We are delighted to celebrate the remarkable sports achievements in St. Marys," says Joannah Campbell, Recreation Manager for the Town of St. Marys. "Our community is incredibly supportive and engaged. It is important to acknowledge the committed individuals, teams and builders that contribute to the success and growth of sports in our Town."

The successful inductees will be announced in May and celebrated this fall during an Induction Ceremony at the Pyramid Recreation Centre.
