Cardholders can enjoy a day at an Upper Thames conservation area or Ontario provincial park

Libraries across the country are changing and diversifying services and St. Marys Public Library is no exception. In an effort to continue offering new and exciting services, the Library has added parks passes to its growing list of available resources.

Library cardholders can borrow the passes, which grant them free day access to Upper Thames conservation areas (including Wildwood, Pittock and Fanshawe) and Ontario provincial parks. Upper Thames passes can be borrowed for two days; Provincial passes can be borrowed for one week. Passes are good for one day and a single vehicle (or up to four people walking or biking).

“We’re very grateful to the Upper Thames River Conservation Authority for donating passes for this program,” Jackie Popowich, Library Clerk, Cataloguing, says, “Parks passes are a fantastic addition to the other recreational resources we offer such as fishing poles and aquatics passes.”
