Aquatics Centre pool estimated to reopen Tuesday, April 19

Replacement of the pool’s boiler is underway at the Pyramid Recreation Centre.

• Staff are hoping to reopen the pool on Tuesday, April 19, after the Easter holiday weekend.
• Registration for single visit programs (aquafit, lane swim, family swim, pool rentals etc.) for April 19 and onward is back open on ActiveNet. If you were already registered prior to the shutdown, there is no need to re-register.
• Spring swimming lessons are on track to start the week of April 19. Swimming lesson online registration will begin Wednesday, April 6 at 5:00 p.m. instead of April 4. View the swim lesson schedule on ActiveNet. 
• The pool maintenance closure scheduled for Monday, June 27 to Sunday, July 17 is no longer necessary and has been cancelled.
