Pyramid Recreation Centre pool temperature to be reduced

After consulting with industry experts, the Town of St. Marys has determined that it must reduce the temperature of the Pyramid Recreation Centre pool to prevent excess air humidity.

Prolonged high levels of air humidity can cause wear and tear to the facility. The Town is lowering the temperature to ensure that the pool continues to operate in a safe and predictable way.  

Precise temperatures could fluctuate daily but the pool water will always be kept above 80 degrees Fahrenheit.

Updates about the pool temperature will be provided as they are available through the Town’s website and the Pyramid Recreation Centre Facebook page.
