Emergency Accommodation
The City of Stratford Social Services Department is the provincially designated provider of short-term emergency accommodation for individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Perth County.
The Town can connect individuals/families experiencing homelessness in St. Marys with the City of Stratford to arrange emergency accommodation.
Emergency accommodation services are completely voluntary; individuals experiencing homelessness have the right to refuse them and may choose to do so, despite the cold temperatures.
If you need emergency accommodation, or know someone that does, contact the Outreach Worker at 226-261-0098 or communityoutreach@town.stmarys.on.ca or the City of Stratford at 519-271-3773, ext. 200 or 1-800-669-2948 (Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.); 519-272-2294 or 1-888-829-7484 (after hours, weekends, and holidays).
