Free concert will be a treat on Trout Creek
Don’t forget to pack your lawn chair or perfect your paddle for a special concert this Friday, September 2!
Local band Harmony of Friends will play a free concert beginning at 6:30 p.m. on the north bank of Trout Creek, in Rotary Park. This location allows two options for enjoying the show: people can paddle up on their watercraft and listen from the water or bring a lawn chair and sit on the south bank of the creek, which is known as Kin Park. The park is at the foot of James Street North (the St. Marys VIA Station) and St. George Street (just west of Hearn’s Ice Cream).
The concert begins at 6:30 p.m. and the band will play a mix of pop favourites from the 1960s to present until approximately 8:00 p.m. The sunset will make a perfect backdrop for this summery show, with playground equipment for young ones to enjoy.
Thank you to concert sponsors Royal LePage Don Hamilton Real Estate and Andrew L. Hodges Funeral Home for supporting this unique event!
Any cancellation due to inclement weather will be announced on the Town of St. Marys Facebook and Instagram pages.
