Section of Wellington Street South closed for 16 weeks due to road reconstruction

Disruption

Wellington Street South will be closed between Jones Street East and 147 Wellington Street South starting on April 6, 2022. The road is being closed to allow for asphalt removals and replacements as part of the reconstruction of Wellington Street. The closure is expected to last 16 weeks, with an expected end date of July 29, 2022.

Patrons will be able to access the post office and Jackson’s Pharmacy as normal during the closure; however, the Wellington Street South entrance to the Canadian Tire plaza will be closed. Patrons are asked to use the Water Street South entrance until the road work is complete.
