Select Town of St. Marys facilities closing indefinitely in response to COVID-19

The Town of St. Marys is taking steps to protect the health and safety of our community. To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, the following municipal facilities will be closed indefinitely: 

  • Pyramid Recreation Centre (including arena and pool)
  • St. Marys Friendship Centre
  • St. Marys Youth Centre
  • St. Marys Museum
  • St. Marys Public Library 
  • Town Hall 
  • Municipal Operations Centre
  • St. Marys VIA Rail Station (including St. Marys Station Gallery)
  • St. Marys Child Care Centre (closed until Sunday, April 5, 2020, following direction from the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education)

This closure will affect all programs, bookings and events at each of these facilities, including EarlyON programs.

Municipal staff will remain at Town Hall and will be available to answer questions by phone (519-284-2340) or email. A full staff contact list is available on our Contact Us page. 

VIA Rail trains will continue to operate, though service may be reduced. Visit VIA Rail's website regularly for the latest travel advisories: www.viarail.ca 

The Town continues to monitor this evolving situation and is following the recommendations of Huron Perth Public Health. We will provide updates as soon as they become available through the Town website (www.townofstmarys.com) and social media (facebook.com/stmarysontario and twitter.com/townofstmarys).
