Town announces new hours at Service Ontario location

The Town of St. Marys is adjusting the hours at its Service Ontario office, located at 194 Queen Street West.

Effective today (April 6, 2022), the office will be closed from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. This lunchtime closure was part of the Town’s original agreement with Service Ontario.

Starting Monday, April 11, 2022, the office will close at 4:00 p.m. daily instead of 4:30 p.m., to allow staff to complete proper closing procedures within their regular working hours. The 4:00 p.m. closure is expected to be a temporary measure. The Town hopes to extend the hours to 4:30 p.m. in the future.

The change in hours will not impact the range of in-person services available at the Service Ontario office, which include (but are not limited to):

• Driver’s licences
• Vehicle permits and plates
• Accessible parking permits
• Driver and vehicle records
• Health care and insurance (OHIP)
• Organ and tissue donations
• Photo cards

Over 40 services are available online at www.serviceontario.ca. These services are easy to use, fast, convenient, and available 24/7.
