Town hosting first ever St. Marys Recreation Fair on June 7, 2024

Kick-off Recreation & Parks month at the Pyramid Recreation Centre

On Friday, June 7, the Town will be hosting its first ever Recreation Fair from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Pyramid Recreation Centre (317 James St. S).

The event, falling within Recreation and Parks month, aims to highlight the diverse range of recreation and leisure opportunities within the Town.

"Staying active and connected within the community promotes physical and mental well-being,” says Joannah Campbell, Recreation Manager for the Town of St. Marys. "The Recreation Fair is an opportunity to showcase recreational activities that are available in St. Marys for individuals of all ages, interests and abilities.”

Attendees can look forward to a variety of engaging booths and interactive demonstrations from minor sports organizations, service clubs, private recreation service providers, exercise and wellness centres, as well as adult and senior recreation opportunities.

Everyone is welcome to attend this free drop-in event and advance registration is not required.

Those interested in signing up as a vendor can fill out an application form at townofstmarys.com/recreationfair by Tuesday, May 21 at 12:00 p.m.
