Town hosting public meeting to discuss 2024 municipal budget

Notice is hereby given that Council will host a meeting to receive public input on the 2024 municipal budget on January 9, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. at the Municipal Operations Centre (408 James St. S).

AND further that Council will consider a by-law to adopt the 2024 budget on January 23, 2024, at its regular 6:00 p.m. meeting.

Anyone may attend the meetings and/or make written or verbal statements about the budget. Both meetings will be livestreamed on the Town’s YouTube channel.

Council held open meetings to review and discuss the 2024 operating and capital budgets on November 21, 2023, and December 5, 2023.

Draft budget documents can be viewed online or in person at the Municipal Operations Centre.
