Town of St. Marys Appoints Director of Finance/Treasurer

Mayor Al Strathdee and the Council of the Town of St. Marys are very pleased to announce the appointment of André Morin as the Director of Finance/Treasurer, effective May 22, 2019.

Morin will be joining the Town from the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) where he is currently the Regional Manager, Municipal & Stakeholder Relations. Prior to his role at MPAC, he spent over fifteen years in the municipal sector in positions such as Treasurer, Director of Corporate Services/Treasurer, and Chief Administrative Officer. A Chartered Professional Accountant, he also holds an Honours Degree in Commerce from Laurentian University. 

“I am very honoured to have an opportunity to come back to the municipal sector. I have been very impressed with the progression the Town of St. Marys has made over the last number of years; it is exciting to have the opportunity to join Mayor Strathdee, Council, CAO Brent Kittmer, and the St Marys' municipal staff team and continue to move the community forward,” Morin says.
