Town of St. Marys revs up for sixth annual Car Show

On Saturday, August 19, Milt Dunnell Field will travel back in time as it hosts the sixth annual St. Marys Car Show. The event is open to all vintage vehicles and is an opportunity for owners and enthusiasts to come together in a celebration of classic cars.

Registration for the event begins at 10:00 a.m. and is open until 12:00 p.m. There is a $10 entry fee for each car and the first 150 owners to arrive will receive a goodie bag that includes a souvenir dash plaque. Registrants will also be entered to win a variety of door prizes, which will be drawn between 12:00 and 2:30 p.m.

The Show ‘N Shine portion of the event will run from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m., and is free for spectators. Attendees are encouraged to vote for their favourite vehicle, as the owner of the car with the most votes will win a ‘Best Vehicle’ prize pack.

Accompanying the classic cars will be a variety of food vendors, including The Black Angus, Sunset Diner and Stonetown Coffee Co.
