Town seeking input on recreation and leisure services

Contact Us

The Town of St. Marys wants to hear from you. The municipality is currently in the process of drafting a Recreation and Leisure Services Master Plan and is looking for feedback on the types of facilities, services and programs that are required to meet local needs.

Residents can share their opinions in a variety of ways. A survey can be accessed online at www.surveymonkey.com/r/STMARYSMP; print copies will be available at Town Hall, the St. Marys Public Library, Pyramid Recreation Centre, Friendship Centre, Municipal Operations Centre and the St. Marys Museum later this week. The survey is open until Friday, March 3.

Those who prefer to provide comments in person can attend the Master Plan Launch Event on Thursday, February 23 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Pyramid Recreation Centre (1/3 Hall). This event is a chance for residents to learn more about the Recreation and Leisure Services Master Plan and share their feedback with staff.

Written comments can also be submitted in-person at Town facilities or sent by email to RLSMP@town.stmarys.on.ca.

Once drafted, the Recreation and Leisure Services Master Plan will guide the delivery of recreation and leisure opportunities in St. Marys for the next 10 years. Residents will have an opportunity to view the final plan at a Public Open House later this year.
