The task force will be divided into three sub-committees based on sector. Within each sector priorities will be set for short-term, responsive activities and long-term recovery projects around the following pillars:

Adult LearningAssistance with Learning Basic Skills and upgrading to complete your high school equivalency. Service Canada Pop upsWe host three dates a year when Service Canada comes to St. Marys. Contact the Library at 519-284-3346 for more details. Ontario Works Pop upsFriday afternoons. Meet with a Representative in person. No appointment necessary. Friends Complimentary Coffee, Tea and hot Chocolate StationHelp yourself to a warm beverage courtesy of our Friends of the Library Group. Library Pantry & Friends FridgeAccess food products from our pantry. Available to all community members during our hours of operation. Period PantryAccess menstrual, bladder and hygiene products in our free pantry. Available to all community members during our hours of operation. CollectionsFree access to books, magazines, DVDs, video games, audiobooks, games, and puzzles for children and adults. Digital CollectionsFree Access to digital audio books, E-books, magazines, music, videos, tv shows which can be accessed from your smart phone, tablet or computer. Online CoursesLearn a language in Pronunciator, do genealogy research in Ancestry. Borrow from our Library + CollectionWe lend snowshoes, walking polls, park passes, tennis rackets, pickleball rackets, museum passes, hockey game passes, hotspots, light therapy lamps, radon detectors, bocce ball kits, crokinole board, fishing poles, yoga kits, bird watching kits, and kids activity kits all for free. Enjoy some time experiencing some fun and making memories in your community! Computer AccessThe library has four computer stations that provide internet access and word processing and access to email for your needs, free of charge. Prepare, print or email resumes and government forms. Printing & Faxing ServicesPrinting in black and white or colour available on a variety of sizes, including large format for reasonable rates. Please ask staff for a detailed list of costs. WiFiAccess available throughout the Library. Public TelephoneProvide the community with local and Canada-wide free calling services for no cost. Study SpaceAvailable in the library on both the first and second floor for free. Please see staff if you require a spot that provides power to plug in your device. MakerSpaceWe offer space where you can tinker, create and make by booking appointments to use the equipment. We welcome everyone to the MakerSpace. You have access to sewing machines, sergers, a heat press, a Cricut, button maker and 3D printing free of charge, with a small fee for vinyl. Speak to staff for more details. Home DeliveryCan’t make it into the Library? We will help pick library resources based on your interests and deliver it to you at home. When you’re done, we will pick it up too! Ask staff for more details. Coming on your bike?Borrow a bike lock, access to a bike repair kit and use our water bottle filling station for a quick cool drink. Borrow materials from other Ontario Public LibrariesPlace a request for an interlibrary loan with staff. A small fee may apply from the lending library. Need materials in an accessible format?The library provides additional materials and can connect you to CELA resources. ProgramsParticipate in book clubs, writing groups, playgroups, summer programs, reading contests, lectures, crafts, and even trivia nights!
